It covers the entire epidermis with the main function of selective permeability: it prevents contact between external agents and living cells and prevents excessive transepidermal water loss. Changes in the epidermal barrier lead to sensitivity, dehydration, and percutaneous absorption. The consequences are paraphysiological alterations that tend to be chronic: xerosis, eczema, redness, flaking, and dermatitis. BATH OIL is an extremely delicate physiological emulsifier for sensitive, very dry skin in children and adults. It is a concentrate of lipidizing agents (43%) and plant extracts with a soothing and anti-reddening action. It provides relief from discomfort and itching. It can also be used in hydromassage.
